Many mobile games show ads as part of the normal game experience. Sometimes it can be a little confusing to know how to close them — here’s how it usually works.
How Ads Normally Work
Ads appear between game sessions or when you choose to watch a rewarded ad for bonuses.
Most ads run for a few seconds before you can close them.
How to Close Ads
Look for a small “X” button — often in the top-right or top-left corner of the ad.
Sometimes after pressing “X,” a forward arrow button ( » ) appears that you need to tap to fully close the ad.
In some ads, it may look like you’re being asked to visit the App Store or Google Play. Don’t worry — this is part of how ads are designed. Simply wait for the close button to appear and tap it to return to the game.
Important to Know
Ads are provided by external ad networks, so their layout may differ from time to time.
If you tap on the ad by mistake, it might open the App Store/Google Play page. Just close that screen and return to the game.
